While this product certainly has its warts, we were pleasantly surprised to find that, by in large, The Diet Solution Program does deliver on its claims with a solid foundation of reliable, although unconventional nutrition science (a good thing!) combined into a relatively user-friendly format.

But we can say that if a diet program is truly bad or ineffective, you’ll see hundreds of people complaining in the forums and we did NOT see that in this case.

Very balanced with no outrageously extreme recommendations such as fasting, only eating cabbage or drinking lemonade. Much of the recommendations go against conventional “wisdom”, but that has gotten us nowhere as nearly 70% of the U.S. is overweight.

Based on the latest science involving how quickly we metabolize sugar and its effect on weight and health; that said, there were not that many scientific references despite an abundance of them being available.

How credible is the company or author behind the program?
Isabel is not an M.D. (not necessarily a bad thing) and her website claims she is a “certified nutritionist”, but it doesn’t mention where that certification was obtained. That said, she does have an undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is a Holistic Nutrition Lifestyle Coach, certified by the Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (C.H.E.K.) Institute in San Diego, California. While we’d prefer her to have better credentials, it’s The Sherpa’s experience that credentials are only good for the ego and that real-world experience, testing and common sense is what matters, which is something that Isabel seems to have in abundance.

How easy is the program to use?
Translating your metabolic type into what foods you can eat can be difficult, but they do a good job to make that as easy as possible with a variety of charts and instructions. People need to face reality that no program is a magic bullet and that sustained weight loss requires that you make substantial changes to your lifestyle.

How affordable is the program?
Compared to books costing $20 that you can buy at Amazon, this may seem expensive, but given the various components included, the quality and effectiveness of the program and the resulting positive impact it can have on your mind and body, this is affordable.

What is their customer service like?
This program is sold through Clickbank, one of the most reputable online stores around. Excellent customer service with a full 60-day 100%, no-questions-asked guarantee. To confirm this, we tested a refund and it was issued 1 day after we requested it. We also sent in a test question via email and received a response in less than a day, although they did ask us to submit our question via their Facebook page, which is a bit annoying. Lastly, we left a phone message and got a response back in 2 days.

Have people been scammed by this program?
A review of two of the top independent complaint websites (ripoffreport.com and complaintsboard.com) shows a limited number of complaints, with most of those having to do with confusion over the fact that this is a digital book that is NOT mailed to you and is instead delivered online. Checking with the BBB shows a bad grade of F, but to their credit that’s misleading as they’ve only had 3 complaints filed in the last 36 months, 2 of which were successfully resolved. At the time of this review there were no complaints about the effectiveness of the product.

Are there any “gotchas” in the fine print?
There are no sneaky re-bills here, but be aware that during the purchase process you will be offered extra features you can purchase, but these are all 100% optional and many you may find very valuable in your quest for health and weight loss. NOTE: This book is a digital download so don’t get confused that you’ll be buying an actual book.

Although the program has some shortcomings, with an overall score of 4 out of 5, we recommend that The Diet Solution Program by Isabel de Los Rios is worth a try.
The single best attribute is that it's grounded in the latest science, which may seem unconventional, but is actually extremely effective when it comes to losing weight and gaining health.
Most of what you've been taught by the mainstream media, government and even your doctor regarding weight loss is wrong and it's refreshing to see a program call a spade a spade and have the conviction to point out what actually works.
Discovering what your metabolic type is and then customizing the meal plans based on that type is probably the single most powerful aspect of this program and is another main reason The Sherpa recommends it.
