A new study about the French maritime pine bark extract has successfully confirmed the benefits of the extract treatment among perimenopausal women. The findings showed significant results in relieving some of the symptoms associated with perimenopause such as insomnia or difficulty in sleeping and fatigue and likewise showed improvement in vasomotor symptoms (like hot flashes and night sweats). There was also a reduction in the Kupperman index (numerical index that rates the 11 menopausal symptoms).
