A recent study suggests that resveratrol, substance found in red wine and red grapes, may be a possible protection against hearing loss and cognitive decline. Lead author Michael D. Seidman, division director at Henry Ford Hospital said that resveratrol is a potent chemical that appears to protect against the inflammatory process of the body relative to aging, hearing loss and cognition.
